First Day Of Summer

boys had a blast and would have stayed all day & all night if hunger hadn't intervened..lol  but never fear... they'll be back in again today and probably everyday for the rest of the summer..lol

Insanity Summer Day 6, 7, 8 & 9

Ughhh, haven't done much the last few days, it's too hot & humid to do anything outdoors so were kinda hibernating for now. watched a few good movies the last couple of days, one made me laugh, the other had me in tears. "Here comes the boom" & "The Warrior" both were really good & I give them a huge thumbs up! been pretty quiet around here but I found out that the people downstairs went to New York for the summer *thank you god!* gotta surprise for daddy for father's day and other than that, no really big plans just hanging out and watching "True Blood" sunday night  yea!  I can't wait for "American Horror Story", "The Walking Dead" & "Bates Motel" to come back. but until then, just gonna lay like a lazy lizard...lol  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Insanity Summer Day 5

Today was o.k., we went to Sam's funeral and it's just been a sad day. Not to mention it was 101 in the shade and this time of year, it just zaps the energy out of everybody and I've got a headache that I just can't seem to get rid of. We all came home and took a nap and were still tired. From now on...my home will be at the pool, just lounging like a lazy lizard..lol.  Was gonna take the boys bowling but we just cant get the energy to get up and go, so I'll be taking them tomorrow. I'm sitting here trying to get all my blog stuff organized and I was so lazy, we had pizza for dinner...lol  Hope everyone had a good day. Until tomorrow.....

Insanity Summer Day 4

Today was o.k., it rained most of the morning but cleared up this afternoon and we even saw the sun for a little bit. Got a funeral to go to tomorrow and that's gonna be sad. Pretty much didn't do anything today except laundry and just a cleanup here and there. could have used a nap but was too into the movie I was watching and I don't think I could have slept anyway. anyhow, day 4 was o.k., til tomorrow

Well Today Has Been Good, It Rained All Night Last Night & It Has Rained All Day Today. Gonna Need A Canoe Soon. Screw The Canoe, It Has Rained So Much I'm Gonna Need A Boat Rescue Soon...lol  Watched A Few Movies Last Night And Like Them All. Gonna Do The Same Today, Just Make It A Lazy Day Of Watching Movies & Playing Games. This Is What We Saw Last Night.

We Are Currently Watching The Race But When That's Over Were Gonna Have Hamburgers & Fries For Dinner And Find A Movie. I've Got To Call Tommorow & Have Mine & Hubby's Dr. Appts. Rescheduled Because We Have A Funeral Tuesday To Go To For My Husband's Brother In Law. I Saw A Post On Facebook The Other Day For These But I Have Looked In All My Local Stores And Can't Find Them But I'm Dying To Get Them For The Boys. Has Anybody Bought & Tried These Yet?

Insanity Summer Day 2

Today has gone pretty well so far. Everybody slept late this morning. I got up and poured me some coffee and me and hubby just enjoyed the quiet for a while. Got a knock at the door and to my sweet surprise, there was a FedEx package of Dove chocolate!  Woohoo!  but uploading just the 2 pics that I took was like an act of congress!  lol  yes, big brother, I am taking & uploading pics and talking to friends on the internet and cell phone.  Can ya hear me now????  hahaha  but I don't use a credit card, sorry.  Anyhoo, day has been good and no fighting....can ya believe it?  Boys must be getting sick or something...lol  later on we are gonna sit down after dinner and watch Iron Man 3 with the Dove chocolate I got this morning & some popcorn.  Hope yall have a wonderful day, I am gonna enjoy today as much as possible!  Til next time.....

Insanity Summer Day 1

Today is the first day of summer for the boys, they didn't go to bed until 11pm and woke up around 9am and couldn't even get through eating breakfast without fighting *sigh* I can already tell that this is gonna be a summer to remember. Cleaned out the fridge and pantry yesterday and last night we sat down and made a list for the grocery store. I was really proud of how well that trip went. came home unloaded the groceries and put everything away and found out that my husbands brother in law passed this afternoon.  May he rest in peace, he will be missed and he was such a good man. I know he's not in anymore pain leaving this earth to join the angels but it still doesn't help the sadness of knowing he's gone. the boys are sad but understand.  I've got some cleaning to do and I think for dinner we have frito bake but I'm not sure yet. anyway I'm off to finish the dishes and Swiffer the floors. day 1 hasn't been too bad.  Don't know if I wanna know what day 2 is gonna bring. Until then....

Hello Again!

Well Hello again!  What a beautiful day!  I am sitting here listening to the bird's chirp in the background with the sun out, a nice breeze coming in. Hope everyone is well, I am going to be busy today trying to organize a few things, this blog and a few others as well, it's been a while trying to decide what to do with them and time hasnt been on my side lately with moving and unpacking and all that good stuff. Anyway, just wanted to say hello and to let you know I'm still here...chugging along.   til tommorow.
